Within Temptation — музыкальная группа из Нидерландов, исполняющая симфонический метал. Основана в 1996 году гитаристом Робертом Вестерхольтом и вокалисткой Шарон ден Адель. Уже после релиза первого альбома Enter, группа стала заметной на сцене андеграунда. Это продолжалось до 2001 года, когда Within Temptation стали известны благодаря синглу Ice Queen из альбома Mother Earth, который добрался до второй позиции чартов. С тех пор группа выигрывала премию Conamus export четыре года подряд.
